It has officially been a ‘Tia Wood Summer.’ After the monumental release of her first official song, ‘Dirt Roads’ on June 21st, 2024, and an additional two successful single releases, Tia announced the release of her debut EP, ‘Pretty Red Bird,’ on Instagram yesterday morning.

Tia included several pictures and videos in her announcement. Pictured here is her performance at this past SWAIA’s Santa Fe Indian Market.

The EP is anticipated to include “Dirt Roads,” “Losing Game,” and “Catch & Release.” All three songs have already had such an emotional impact on Indian Country.

The final slide in the announcement includes a video of a young Tia singing Miley Cyrus’s ‘The Climb’ on stage. The song resembles an individual’s strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to their passions. It is the perfect song to summarize Tia Wood’s career and journey as an artist. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see where her remarkable talent and passions lead her.
