It’s Friday, which means the weekend starts today! And it’s a great weekend for fashion in Indian Country.
Here are two HUGE fashion events you can’t miss! Even if you can’t physically make these events, definitely show your support by liking, sharing, and following these two events and designers.
June 16 | B.YELLOWTAIL presents ART, FASHION, & RESILIENCE
Join B.YELLOWTAIL and other inspirational Native artists and organizations in Los Angeles for an evening of celebration, panel discussion, and a runway fashion show.
Hosted by Temryss Lane, special guests include Heather Rae (filmmaker/producer), Sarah Eagleheart (CEO of Native Americans in Philanthropy), and Kim Smith (Honor the Earth), with a performance by Tazbah Rose Chavez. The fashion show will feature B.YELLOWTAIL’s Summer 2017 collection. There will also be an art gallery by the California Endowment, Self Help Graphics and Honor the Earth. The event will be at World of Wonder Gallery at 6650 Hollywood Blvd tonight from 7 pm to 10 pm.
After the show is over, the B.YELLOWTAIL pop-up shop will still be open. Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, June 18 from 12 pm to 4 pm.

June 17 | ACONAV Presents Emerging Into Style
A solo fashion show featuring special collections by Acoma Pueblo fashion designer Loren Aragon of ACONAV. The fashion show will be at and is hosted by Chrome Nightclub inside Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino. Doors open @ 7PM and show starts @ 8PM. Remember, there is a $10 cover at the door and this is a 21+ event.
