SWAIA Native Fashion Week Sunday’s runway shows were an epic close to a transformative week of Indigenous creativity, culture, and couture at the Santa Fe Convention Center.
The Sunday showcases, held across two highly anticipated presentations, bring the week’s momentum to a powerful crescendo. At 1 PM and 4 PM, some of the most buzzed-about designers take the stage, each carving space for Native fashion on the global stage with brilliance.
1 PM Show: Rising Voices, Resounding Visions
The early afternoon show introduces collections that honor land, lineage, and legacy. Towering Stone delivers raw earth tones and structural silhouettes that echo the natural world. K Lookinghorse weaves together regalia-inspired elegance with modern-day movement. Kaylyn Baker Designs brings a bold and colorful reflection of Tlingit culture, while Suglit Lukxs Designs fuses ancestral formline art with contemporary cuts. Copper Canoe Woman closes the set with coastal grace and West Coast flourishes, honoring matriarchal strength through textiles.
4 PM Show: Innovation Meets Impact
The final showcase at 4 PM elevates the energy even further. RVSO78 introduces a collection that bridges streetwear and storytelling, redefining what Native fashion can look like today. Stevens & Snyder strike a rare balance between sculptural fashion and wearable art featuring their signature “Beaded Birkins”. Robyn McLeod presents a deeply personal collection rooted in Dene aesthetics, and PM Waterlily finishes the night with refined silhouettes that echo across generations of Indigenous femininity.
Pop-Up Shops & Runway Activations
Sunday isn’t only about the runway. The immersive Pop-Up Shops and Runway Activation Spaces continue all day, offering guests one final chance to shop directly from the designers, connect over stories, and experience Indigenous fashion in its most intimate, empowering form.
A Legacy in Motion
As the curtain closes on this year’s SWAIA Native Fashion Week, the message is clear: Native fashion isn’t a trend—it’s a movement.
