The annual Santa Fe Indian Market, organized by the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA), is just days away. Come see all Santa Fe has to offer next weekend at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center.

Friday, August 16th

To kick off the events, the Best of Show Ceremony + Luncheon starts at 11:30 AM in the center’s ballroom. Come celebrate the top award-winning artists and be among the first to see this year’s artwork. Get tickets here.

Speaking of award-winning art, come take a sneak peek before the market opens. Head to the ballroom between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Get tickets here.

Saturday, August 17th

The long-awaited 102nd Santa Fe Indian Market is here. It begins at 8:00 AM and is open until 5:00 PM in the Santa Fe Plaza. The entire market is free and open to the public. This year’s market features over 1,000 artists from over 200 tribes. Santa Fe Indian Market is the largest and most prestigious Native arts show in the world.

Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the Plaza Stage, you can experience an exciting lineup of live performances. The Indigenous performances are free and open to the public all day.

To wrap up the evening, the Santa Fe Indian Market Gala begins at 6:00 PM. The event will feature a live auction and a fashion show sponsored by the annual fundraiser. Get tickets here.

Sunday, August 18th

The second and final day of the market kicks off once again at 8:00 AM and will commence at 5:00 PM. The Plaza will also feature more Indigenous entertainers. Both the market and performances are free and open to the public. However, the performances begin a bit later, at 12:00 PM.

The ‘Art and Fashion Talks’ public presentation and conversation features Kent Monkman, Jontay Kahm, and Amber-Dawn Bear Robe. The event is held inside the convention center and begins at 11:00 AM. Get tickets here.

Finally, the main event—the SWAIA Native Fashion Show! The show is held in the ballroom from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM; grab your tickets now. Featuring premier designers, top models, and industry-leading hair and makeup artists, the future of Native fashion is on a high-energy, nationally recognized stage unlike any other. Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas will kick off the show!
