The Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) has announced the return of SWAIA Native Fashion Week, taking place May 8–9, 2026, at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
For 2026, the program introduces a newly curated format focused on depth, designer visibility, and audience connection. By centering the weekend in one venue, SWAIA is creating a more intimate, storytelling-driven experience that brings fashion, hospitality, and culinary artistry together under one roof.
This year’s featured designers represent a powerful cross-section of Native design excellence:
- Patricia Michaels
- Himikalas Pamela Baker
- Lauren Good Day
- Jamie Okuma
- Jontay Kahm
Producer Peshawn Bread returns to lead the event in partnership with Southwestern Association for Indian Arts.
According to SWAIA leadership, this year’s structure prioritizes meaningful engagement over scale. By consolidating programming into a single venue, the organization aims to create higher-impact runway moments, stronger connections between designers and guests, and new opportunities to weave culinary storytelling into the fashion experience.
