Indigenous fashion is moving, and here’s what’s landing on our radar this week.

Lindsay King brings Pendleton to the streets of Toronto

If you’ve been watching Lindsay King’s leather work, you already know her pieces sell out fast. Her latest drop, The Handbag Collection, is all handcrafted in Toronto using a limited run of leftover Pendleton® wool from outerwear production, so each bag is one of a small batch. The prints come in White Sands Tan and Oxbow, one of the brand’s best-selling patterns from last season, and it’s finished with genuine full-grain leather, an exterior back pocket, and three interior pockets built for daily use. It’s the kind of piece that’s both practical and distinctly yours. Shop now at lindsayking.co.

Isabella Rose Design debuts the Bold Elegance Collection

Designer Rose McFadden (@rrose.mcfaddenn) of Isabella Rose Design Co. (IRDCO) just unveiled the Bold Elegance Collection, and it’s exactly what the name promises. The collection fuses traditional Indigenous heritage with contemporary silhouettes, leather, and buckskin structured against long-train gowns and flowing textured fabrics. The effect is powerful: confident, yet refined. Complementing the garments are one-of-a-kind jewelry sets for both men and women, featuring natural stone, precious metals, and eagle feathers as a nod to cultural tradition and a statement of Indigenous luxury.
