Boundary-Breaking Beauty Brand ‘2SPIRIT BEAUTY’ Succeeds with Their First Launch

A two-spirit makeup artist just launched a clean and inclusive beauty brand inspired by Indigenous artistry and inclusion.



Terrell Benally, an Indigenous two-spirit makeup artist from the Navajo tribe, is the first in their family to attend college. Benally grew up in Montezuma Creek, a small town on the Navajo reservation in Utah. Now, they have their own beauty brand. Benally’s brand ‘2SPIRIT BEAUTY’ just launched, accomplishing many of their life goals. With all the success of the brand, only a few days after the launch, a celebration is in order.   

‘2SPIRIT BEAUTY’ had its first launch of products, including an eyebrow pencil, an eyeshadow palette, a handheld mirror, and more. The entire brand is vegan and cruelty-free. ‘2SPIRIT BEAUTY’ currently ships to the US, Canada, and Mexico. The ‘2SPIRIT BADDIE BUNDLE’, featuring all of the line’s products, has already sold out. 

The ‘POW-WOW SZN’ eyeshadow palette includes 15 mesmerizing shades and a built-in mirror. All 15 of the colors are vibrant and vivid, ranging from everyday pigmented neutrals to glam-night dazzling neons. The ‘2SNATCHED BROW PENCIL’ currently comes in three colors: Soft Brown, Golden Brown, and Dark Brown. The ‘WHAT THE FAUX (mink)’ lash box includes four pairs of faux mink lashes, ranging from fluffy and natural to thick and bold.

Benally’s mission for the brand is to honor beauty, empowerment, and rich Indigenous history and culture. The brand reflects the values of inclusivity, authenticity, and the celebration of beauty in all its forms. “Let’s embrace our unique spirits and make this world a more beautiful place together,” says Benally in their Facebook post announcing the launch back on July 3rd, 2023.
