Quannah Chasinghorse (Han Gwich’in/Oglala Lakota), 18-year old climate warrior, land protector, and model from Fairbanks, Alaska, graces the cover of VOGUE Mexico this month.

“Quannah Chasinghorse is the face of a new generation of models that is changing the world. She is willing to let her voice reach any corner of the planet.” says VOGUE Mexico writer CRISTINA CHAMORRO of Quannah.

Quannah is well known for raising awareness and fighting for the Arctic. She works to protect sacred lands from oil development and fighting for climate justice, indigenous rights, the MMIWG and accurate representation.

She’s also no stranger to being featured on such a platform. Last year, Quannah was included on Teen Vogue‘s 21 Under 21 special feature.

Quannah is the daughter of well-known Native activist Jody Potts.
