Ashley Callingbull recently celebrated her 35th birthday on October 21st. The Miss Universe pageant recently lifted its age limit, which required contestants to be between the ages of 18 and 28. With no barriers in the way, Ashley felt compelled to compete and went on to be crowned Miss Universe Canada 2024.

On Instagram, we are reminded of Ashley’s beauty, elegance, and dedication to her people and her culture. @MissUniverseCanada collaborated on a post featuring clips of Ashley Callingbull at pow-wows, hosting televised programs, and competing in previous pageants. The beautiful video includes “Braids” by Anachnid, a multidisciplinary Indigenous Oji-Cree artist based in Montreal.
