The highly anticipated premiere of Navajo Highways, a groundbreaking new children’s television series, will take place at the Navajo Nation Museum on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (MST). This exclusive event will feature a special screening of Season 1 (approximately 45 minutes), followed by a reception and meet-and-greet with the guest stars, cast, crew, and the beloved puppets from the series.

Navajo Highways follows the summer adventures of Sadie, a young girl from an urban background who embarks on a journey of discovery, immersing herself in the beauty and traditions of Navajo life on the reservation. Through the guidance of her family and community, she learns about Navajo language, culture, and values in a unique storytelling format that blends live-action and puppetry.

The series is the creative vision of writer and director Pete Sands, with major funding provided by the Navajo Nation and the New Mexico Public Education Department. Additionally, Navajo Highways has secured an exclusive distribution deal with FNX (First Nations Experience) for streaming on their new platform.
